Croce Verde Centro and Vecchia Viareggio districts
An evening party of dancing, music and masks in the shadow of the Matilde Tower in the historic heart of Viareggio. It is the first of a weekend of engaging evenings where the Carnival was born at the end of the nineteenth century. The party takes place in Via Regia and in the Santa Maria and Manzoni squares. It is also an opportunity to taste the typical dishes of the Viareggio tradition. Free admission.

Marco Polo district
Dancing, masks, music, fun, involvement and cuisine with traditional dishes in the first of the three Festivals proposed by the Marco Polo district. From 7 pm until late at night in Via Marco Polo. Free admission.
